The Best Weekend EVER!

So me and 10 of my girlfriends rented this FABULOUS house in Palm Springs for the weekend! We did nothing but EAT, CHAT and LOUNGE lazily by the pool and it was PURE HEAVEN!!! I feel like one of the luckiest girls to have such GREAT (not to mention GORGEOUS) girlfriends who seriously I do not know how I would survive without! Thank you ladies for a SPECTACULAR and MEMORABLE weekend!!!

Mia's First Dance Recital!

We passed a huge milestone today in little Mia's life as we attended her first dance recital! As a parent, I LIVE for these little moments. I was beaming ear-to-ear as I watched her up on the stage doing her little 'Cuddle Cub' dance! She could have been doing the hokey-pokey and I couldn't have been more proud! Mia is quite the little performer and I foresee many a more dance recitals in her future! SO PROUD OF YOU PIA!!!

Father & Son Campout

Roy and Max attended the annual Father & Sons Camp-out @ the Silver Strand State Beach. Roy said all Max wanted to do was put sticks in the fire...ALL NIGHT! (We may have a pyro on our hands!?) Only a couple more years and little Vanner will be right there with them! YAY for BOYS!!

Hulk Boobies?

Max: "Mom, where's the tape?"
Me: "Why do you need tape Max?"
Max: "I need to tape my boobies on"
Me: "What do you mean you have to tape your boobies on?"
Max: "Mom, I can't be the Hulk without boobies!"
Me: "Alrighty then...."

Mia: "Mom, how do squirrels toot?"
Me: "WTF?"

Happy Mothers Day

It was a picture perfect Mothers Day picnic down at Salt Creek! I had a very relaxing weekend with girlfriends (minus children! It was DREAMY!!!!) and got to sleep in Sunday morning! It was such a TREAT! Being a mom has been one of the most challenging, stressful and REWARDING things I have ever done! I give so much credit to my own mom who did such a fabulous job in raising three AMAZING (if I do say so myself!) kids! I strive every day to be like her! She is the BEST!!! I love you MOM!

So Mia and her cousin Ruby had to take their dance pictures the other day (Recital is Memorial Day weekend!) and so I had to get Mia all dolled up! All I can say is the girl has the most AMAZING long eyelashes(thank you milk man for those!) I barely put any mascara on them and they look as though the kid has fake ones on! SO JEALOUS!
