Oceanside Pier

Yes. It's January.
This is why we pay the big bucks to live here! Nothing beats a walk on the pier and an ice cream at Ruby's on a glorious January afternoon with girlfriends! So happy to have my sister who lives so close and good friends who are always thinking of fun things to do!

San Diego Zoo

Love. The. Zoo. There is always something cool to see (The Elephant Odyssey is so amazing!) and my kids are thoroughly entertained for HOURS! It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon:)

Van turns 1

It's hard to believe, but my baby is ONE year old! Where did the time go??







We had a really fun night with family celebrating Vanners 1st birthday. My mom and aunt Shari came down from Orange County and my sister and her family came to help in the festivities! Van went right for the cake and dug in! It was so fun watching the expressions of pure enjoyment on his face when he was scarfing it:) You only get one chance in your life to eat like that, and Van took full advantage! I sure love this little guy and am so grateful for him in our lives:)

Adventures in SF

~Bocce Ball. It's an Italian game where you throw a ball at another ball. Still not sure how to play it, but it was really fun!

~On Tuesday we went into the city and TOTALLY geeked out and did a Segway tour around downtown San Francisco. Twenty minutes into it and you forget that you look like a major tourist with the helmet and bright green vest, and you are just having a BLAST! It was really one of the coolest things I have ever done in the city:)

Merry Christmas!

We had a little visitor at our house last night! The children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of ben ten watches and barbies danced in their heads! It was a very Merry Christmas for the Willardson Family:)

~We ran into Santa later on that evening. He was pretty sketchy, but the kids didn't seem to mind!


This year marked my mom's 3rd annual Christmas Cookie Party! It was so fun for the kids to open their new Christmas pj's and frost sugar cookies! We had X-mas music playing, the fireplace going (until Van made a b-line for it and that was the end of that!)and the tree all lit up! It totally got me in the festive mood and really got me excited for Christmas. This will be Vanners first Xmas and I think it's gonna be a good one! Merry Christmas!!!

Freaking Genius!!

This is Nick. He is an elf. An Elf on a Shelf to be more specific. He watches your kids throughout the day, taking notes on their behavior. Using 'Christmas Magic' he flies to the North Pole every night and reports to Santa if your child has been 'naughty' or 'nice'. He is 'magically' back in the morning and in a new spot. This is freaking genius....Now what to do for the other 11 months of the year...Any suggestions???? lol!
