Tahoe 2009

I am finally able to post some pictures from our fabulous trip to Tahoe (our home computer is dying a slow death!)
Our family looks forward to Tahoe every year. It seems like when we are on our way home from one such trip, my kids are already talking about the next time they get to go! I have to thank my wonderful in-laws for providing such a fabulous trip and providing my children with memories that will last a life time!
As you can see, we pretty much hang out at the beach (Rubicon-West Shore) and take the boat out...Max has been dubbed the 'Boat Man' and really helped Popop this year by getting the boat ready every day:)
It was great to hang out with family and just spend time catching up with those who we don't get to see all the time!
Tahoe...We love you and can't wait to see you next summer!

Grandpa Comes to Visit!

It was a very big deal at the Willardson house when my dad came to visit, since this was his first time meeting Van (Grandbaby #12...#13 being born in January to Stephen & Simone!) The two hit it off right away and my kids ADORED having him at our house (it didn't hurt that he brought his dog Hollie). We hope that we didn't traumatize Grandpa by all the noise and craziness and we hope he comes and visits again SOON!!!

Fro-YO!

So as you may have heard, I turned the big 3-0 this week (sniff-sniff), and so I got to choose where I wanted to go for my b-day treat! I of course chose my favorite frozen yogurt place on the planet...Cherry on Top! And it is only a mere 47.85 miles from my house (um, so that's like 100 miles round trip!) I honestly and truly have the BEST girlfriends on the PLANET cause they all rallied and took me there Tuesday night:) Can I just say it was TOTALLY worth the drive!!!! Thanks ladies for the best b-day EVER!

Oh No! 3-0!

The dreaded day has (almost) ARRIVED!!! I am (as of 12:00am on July 20th) THIRTY YEARS OLD!! I swear I am still sixteen in my mind! HA! It honestly and truly FREAKS me out when I realize that I have been married for 10 years, I have 3 kids and a mortgage! Where did the time GO???

But seriously, I could not have asked for a better birthday party than the one I had last night! As Roy put it, "It's a 'All of Kelly's favorite things' party", and it really WAS!

Cooler full of Diet Coke: Check

No Kids: Check 

Gorgeous Day: Check

Wahoo's : Check

VG's chocolate glazed donuts: Check

All the COOLEST FRIENDS and BEST HUSBAND EVER : CHECK!!!! 

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone who got sitters to come and celebrate the day with me! It really meant the world to me to have everyone there!

The Temple. Wow.

So neat to get to see my Aunt Jayme go through the Temple for the first time. I can only tell you that there is a peace that is felt inside the temple that you can find NOWHERE else and I feel so blessed to have access to it:) I honestly expect them to stop me at the entrance and shake their heads and turn me away...but somehow they don't and I'm allowed inside:) Every-time  I go I wonder why I don't do it more often?! I need to be better. I vow to be better.

Independence Day

This 4th of July was really one of the best I can remember! We didn't do really anything spectacular, but just being with friends and family made the day awesome! We pretty much just let the kids swim their guts out (Vanner took his first dip in the pool!) then headed to In-n-Out for dinner (2nd annual trip there on the 4th! I highly recommend it!!) followed by fireworks @ the Four Seasons in La Costa (they do a fabulous show!!!). Happy Birthday America:)
